  • October 15, 2013 – Voter Registration Deadline
  • November 2, 2013 – Last Day to Vote Absentee In-Person
  • November 5, 2013 – General Election

ABSENTEE VOTING

If you will be away from the County on Election Day (whether on a trip, working long hours, or commuting) or are unable to go to the polls because of illness or disability, you may vote by absentee ballot. Other justifications also exist (see the following Web page for more information: Absentee voting).

  • You can submit an Absentee Ballot Application for a ballot by-mail up to a year in advance of the election. Ballots are mailed out approximately 45 days before the election.
  • The deadline to request an Absentee Ballot by mail is 5 p.m. on the Tuesday before Election Day (Oct. 29, 2012).
  • In-person absentee voting begins 45 days before the election.
  • The last day for in-person absentee voting is Nov 2, 2013.
