Here in Virginia we have two proposals to amend our state’s constitution. The details can be found at the Virginia State Board of Elections website. You just need Adobe Acrobat (a free download), to read the descriptions.

The first amendment would give us more protection from abuses of the eminent domain law. The second would give the General Assembly more discretion when it selects a starting date for the “veto” session. The “veto” session occurs when the General Assembly reconvenes after the regular session to reconsider bills returned to it by the Governor with vetoes or amendments.
