We have discussed at great length the progressive involvement by persons with ‘gender dysphoria’ or transgender identity (TG) into physical and psychological changes that alter their bodies and personalities forever. It is only fair now to examine the other side of the TG coin, that of TG activism.

Starting in December 2019,  Always, a feminine hygiene product, will no longer carry the Venus symbol on its wrappers (Transgender Activists Force Menstrual Products Brand Always To Remove ‘Woman’ Symbol From Packaging; Emily Zuotti, dailywire.com). Proctor & Gamble capitulated to the demands of TG activists to remove the ‘woman’ symbol because it discriminates against TG individuals. Specifically, they’re referring to female to male TG persons who have not undergone medical or surgical steps to make them ‘male’ and therefore retain their female genitalia intact. Therefore, they still experience their monthly periods and perhaps may use Always products.

TG activists have also used social media to claim it is discriminatory to assume that only women menstruate. Their argument has heated to the core women who are feminists. Feminists claim that removing the ‘woman’ symbol from Always packaging lessens the importance of women and threatens to erase progress toward equality that feminists have achieved in the past several decades.

While we’re at it, it’s just a step to the side to mention a whole other issue with regard to Always and sister products. A movement called ‘period poverty’ is campaigning to give girls and women who cannot afford feminine products free access to them (Nadya Okamoto Announces a Yearlong Campaign to Tackle Period Poverty; Rachel Janfaza, self.com). The ultimate thrust of the movement is to legislate the giving of free period products in all public schools. It will be a year-long campaign across the country.

So, there you have it! The gamut of where our nation is at and heading. All are symptoms of where a nation who divorces God ends up!! Absolute chaos with no governing absolutes. We need to turn around and go back to Him pronto!
