Our area went so blue it is almost royal blue, save for the sheriff.
We are about at that point too. I fear for our schools and for the unborn. When a politician tells us it is for the children, parents need to keep their children close.
Amen.
On an interesting note, coming across my feed today: Sheriff Chapman responded yesterday to a proposal by BOS Chair to change County’s form of government and implement a police department in the county.
Things that make you pause and wonder.
Heard about that. Be interesting to see what the voters in Loudoun do. Good luck.
Sheriff Glen Hill was doing a good job. Still, he only barely won. So he will probably have to suffer a recount. Unfortunately, (and this is the first time I have regretted it), Prince William County already has a police department. Sigh!
Tom,
Curious on results of the candidates you preferred made out.
From what I gathered in the National news in Virginia has become a second Illinois for Democrats.
Illinois is bankrupt even though the Illinois Constitution forbids the State to be bankrupt?
That is because Democrats have called the shots for the last century.

@Scatterwisdom
The richest counties in the nation surround Washington D. C. Lots of these people are transplants from the northeast. They are steeped in the ideals of the Secular Socialism by their schools and the crony capitalist news media. So they are like locusts. They have eaten up the states where they came from, and they are eating up Maryland and Virginia.
Tom,
Interesting you mentioned Socialism has invaded your State.
If interested check out my blog post today because the same “perfect storm” is gathering in the National 2020 election.
