Most of the information in our guides relates to legislative votes by the incumbents. Note that we have listed below the questions we sent to the candidates and the legislative bills we used to assess the positions of the incumbents when they did not respond to our questionnaire. To help you with your own research, we have provide links to the bills we used to assess how the incumbent would have responded. The information at these links also shows how the members of the Democratic and Republican Parties voted. If you wish to assess the significance of the party label, please check out some of these bills. Note also that the voter guides often refer to a specific vote. For example, the vote in question made be an amendment to a larger bill. Check the appropriate voter guide to determine which vote is most relevant.
