What will be the main event on June 8th? Democrats will select their nominees for statewide office, Virginia Voting – Democratic Party of Virginia (vademocrats.org). Democrats will select their nominees for Governor, Lieutenant Governor, and Attorney General.

What else will Democrats have on their primary ballot? Check out SURVEY RESPONSES FROM CANDIDATES FOR THE HOUSE OF DELEGATES | Prince William-Manassas Family Alliance (familyallianceonline.org). That document lists the House of Delegates (HOD) races in Prince William County. As Sample Ballots | pwcvotes indicates, there we will be distinct ballots for those Democrats who vote in HOD District 2 (District Map: House of Delegates District 2 (vpap.org)), HOD District 31 (District Map: House of Delegates District 31 (vpap.org)), and HOD District 50 (District Map: House of Delegates District 50 (vpap.org)).

Therefore, there is no need for a Republican Party Primary Elections for statewide offices. Nevertheless there will be one primary election in Prince William County, one for HOD District 51 (District Map: House of Delegates District 51 (vpap.org)). Note that each of the Republican candidates in HOD District 51 has filled out our questionnaire.
