In the United States We the People rule. In the past we have chosen to be a nation under God. In the future.
The word vision in this case refers to revelation, revelation that comes from God. Before we vote, we need to pray for vision as well as wisdom.
What has become the big issue in this election? Consider two points of view.
From The Washington Post.
In their search for issues that will deliver Congress in 2022, conservatives have begun to circle around the cause of “parents’ rights.” In Indiana, Republican Attorney General Todd Rokita recently introduced a Parents Bill of Rights, which asserts that “education policy and curriculum should accurately reflect the values of Indiana families.” In Florida, the legislature passed an even more comprehensive bill, assuring that the state and its public schools cannot infringe on the “fundamental rights” of parents. A growing number of states are allowing parents to sue districts that teach banned concepts. And in Virginia, Republican Glenn Youngkin has made parents’ rights a centerpiece of his campaign for governor, staging “parents matter” rallies and declaring, “I believe parents should be in charge of their kids’ education.”Continued => Parents claim they have the right to shape their kids’ school curriculum. They don’t. (washingtonpost.com)
From The Washington Times.
If you feel as if you are watching the intentional destruction of your culture and your kids, you’re right. It’s not just a bad dream. It is real. It’s planned. It’s targeted. It’s relentless. And it is being carried out in your own back yard in your own public schools.
It doesn’t matter where you live. Whether it be in the crazy land of Gavin Newsom or the bumbling buffoonery of the Beltway, you now reside in Oceania, and your children are Winston.
Consider just a smattering of the recent news.
Virginia gubernatorial candidate Terry McAuliffe tells the voters of The Old Dominion that they can go pound sand if they want any input in directing their children’s education. “I’m not going to let parents come into schools and actually… make their own decisions,” he said. “I don’t think parents should be telling schools what they should teach.”Continued => Time to fight for your kids; their souls are in the balance (washingtontimes.com)
When we vote, we decide how We the People will educate our children. How will you vote? What is your vision? Is it of God or man?
