CONTACTING YOUR ELECTED OFFICIALS

CHECK YOUR VOTER INFORMATION?

Before we start contacting our elected officials, we need to verify our registration status and to verify who represents us. This website,View Your Info – Virginia Department of Elections, has that information. To make certain we know our voting location has not moved, it is a good idea to check this website before every election. Whenever we completed a census, which usually results in the changing of district boundaries, we also need to check this website.

Elected government officials are conveniently listed at Prince William County Government (pwcva.gov) under the MY GOV menu option at the top. Here is the list of pertinent links.

Note that our local government does not use contact forms. We either call them, send them snail mail, or email them. This is also true of our legislators in the General Assembly.
